Trying to Get Back Home
a feel-good, sun-soaked anthem blending nostalgia with a fresh, timeless energy. Featuring Ghanaian artist Ess the Legend and DJ/producer TMSKDJ, this SaxLoveMoney-produced track captures the beauty of the diaspora.
Alfred Nomad, the creator of the project, was inspired to begin this journey after a life-changing trip to Ghana for an artist residency. During his visit, he pondered the true meaning of "home". Is it a place or a person? Can it be defined as wherever an individual is? Or is it something much deeper and farther away?
This project aims to address this disconnection by examining the importance of identity, empowerment, love, and exploration through music, visual art, cultural archives, and preservation.
